Fire hits chemical factory in Caloocan

MANILA – Fire broke out at a chemical warehouse in Maypajo, Caloocan Wednesday night but no injuries were reported.
The fire at the 1,000 square meters paint thinner warehouse was put under control at 3:40 a.m.
Pagalang could no longer use their fire extinguisher as the blaze quickly spread because of the chemicals stored inside the warehouse.
The fire also destroyed the company’s two delivery trucks.
Meanwhile, residents in the area panicked, but they managed to help each other by dousing their houses with water to save it from the fire.
Many residents decided to evacuate their homes at the height of the fire.
